Distinction Luxmore Hotel Fiordland Golf Classic

The 48th Distinction Luxmore Hotel Fiordland Golf Classic 2025 has grown in support amongst the younger generation over the past few years, with fields increasing year on year. Each year up to 120 Fiordland Classic teams from 50+ different clubs from the North Island to Bluff compete and there is often a waiting list of teams still desperate to get into the field.

Tournament Date: 2nd & 3rd August 2025
Entry Fee: $250 per team. This includes twos and the prizegiving dinner at Distinction Luxmore Hotel Te Anau.
Open to amateur men and women in any pair combination.
Format: Saturday is 4BBB Nett and Sunday Combined Medal.
Saturday: A Calcutta will be run once all the 4BBB scores are confirmed, approximately 6:30pm

Handicap Eligibility
Individual: The maximum permitted index for men is 26.1 The maximum permitted index for women is 27.2
Team: The maximum combined course handicap for a pair is 42. Women will receive an extra 3 shots which must be included when calculating the combined course handicap.

Food will be available for purchase at the clubhouse throughout the weekend.

Jamie McIsaac from Inspire Golf Frankton will be onsite throughout the tournament in the marquee with exciting equipment and merchandise for all your requirements.
